The M240H is a handheld, gas-powered auger made by General Equipment (with a Honda engine). It’s designed for digging holes (post holes, fence posts, etc.) where portability and maneuverability matter. It’s intended for one operator.
Good For:
- Great for digging fence post holes, setting sign posts, or other holes in soil, dirt, etc., where you need portability.
- Because it supports up to 8-inch diameter bits, it’s versatile for many standard hole sizes.
- The Honda GX35 4-stroke engine gives you cleaner operation (no oil-gas mixing) and less exhaust smoke vs older 2-strokes.
- Lightweight enough that one person can carry it and use it without needing heavy machinery.
4, 6, 8 and inch auger bits available.
